Thank You for visiting us this year however the weather did not patronage
us.
The awarding ceremony did not happen as we planned or liked according
to some technical problems.
We could meet many modellers but the economical situation unfortunately
made itself felt.
This time we have exact information only about the participants of
the contest and these are the following:
1163 competing models came from 21 countries from 480 modellers.
We do not have any data about the guests and the just exhibited models
but they were represented in large number as well.
We especially pleased to welcome Russian, Ukrainian and Rumanian modellers
who represented their country for the first time at Mosonmagyaróvár
.
We feel honoured that most of attendants left their works on the tables
until the close of the show. We do hope that for next time more can
do this so as to give pleasure to the local population of our town.
We do thank the work of those modellers who took part in judging.
They made the judgement put in more wide platform.
The fact shows the very high standard of the competition that more
than 25% of the entered works got some prizes not to take into consideration
the offered extra prizes. We had to exceed the number of the planned
gold medals! Congratulations!
On the following Monday obviously we started to organise the next
year’s meet to make this little town in the heart of Europe
give home to the next show with a jubilee XV. th anniversary competition.
For last but not the least we would like to offer our condolences
our polish friends for the Saturday tragedy.
